SENT system expansion in Poland
SENT system expansion in Poland
Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that as of March 17, 2026, the SENT system in Poland will be expanded to cover so-called sensitive goods—products particularly vulnerable to tax abuse or trade irregularities.
To date, the SENT system has applied, among others, to fuels and oils, alcohol and tobacco products, certain chemical goods, specific categories of waste, as well as selected agricultural products (e.g., grains, eggs, poultry). From March 17, 2026, the system will also include the transport of clothing and footwear, including shipments transiting through Poland.
The notification obligation will apply in the following cases:
• clothing and clothing accessories (CN codes 61 and 62) where the total shipment weight exceeds 10 kg;
• used clothing (CN code 6309) where the total shipment weight exceeds 10 kg;
• footwear (CN code 64, excluding parts) where the shipment contains more than 20 pairs;
• mixed consignments containing the above goods where the total weight exceeds 10 kg.
Please find the updated list of CN codes subject to the SENT system here:

We also draw your attention to the fact that companies ordering transport services are required to assess each shipment individually and determine whether it is subject to the SENT notification obligation.
When placing transport orders, we kindly ask you to inform us if your shipment includes any of the above-mentioned goods (according to CN codes). Should you have any questions or require assistance in evaluating your shipments, please do not hesitate to contact us.
P.S. An exemption from registration applies where an export or transit declaration is in place.
