UAB Gevara today brings together a team of 300 professionals and offers a comprehensive range of services: export, import, transit, less-than-truckload (LTL) transport across Europe, customs brokerage, oversized, ADR, and temperature-sensitive cargo handling, warehousing, and distribution throughout the Baltic states.
A rapidly expanding fleet and team ensure high-quality service, but they also bring new challenges. One of these is controlling fuel consumption while pursuing sustainability and reducing CO₂ emissions.
Driving efficiency forward with Linqo
One of our key questions was: how can we accurately measure actual fuel consumption and evaluate driver efficiency? With a mixed fleet of trucks from DAF, Mercedes-Benz, VOLVO, SCANIA, RENAULT T, and MAN, we needed a universal solution.
This is where Linqo’s GPS fleet tracking technology proved invaluable. In the second half of 2023, we implemented the Eco-Drive module, which standardizes eco-driving rules across our diverse fleet. This marked the beginning of a new, more efficient phase of operations.

With Eco-Drive, we can analyze driving errors, reduce fuel consumption, and lower operational costs. The benefits are not just financial – reduced fuel usage directly contributes to more sustainable logistics and lower CO₂ emissions.
Additionally, costly components such as brake discs and pads experience less wear and tear. This makes both full-load and partial-load transport more economical, reliable, and environmentally friendly.
